Product Preview: Locking and Unlocking

Use the lock and unlock feature to create a preview of structured content when users are searching within the IB Exchange. Content within a published product is unlocked by default in free content and locked for paid or premium content. System Admin can unlock any aspect of the content to act a product preview.

Unlocking & Locking 

Manage the locked and unlocked aspects of a published product through the product page. To open the product page, use the main search bar in the IB Exchange or search within the Creator Space table.

Step 1:

• Click on the product card when searching in the main search bar to edit the product.

OR

• Select 'Product page' to view the components of the product when searching from the Creator Space table. 

Step 2: 

• Select 'Edit Product Info' on the upper right hand corner. 

Step 3: 

• Expand the product titles under the information bar, by clicking the carrot icons. 

Step 4: 

• Click the lock icon on the far right to lock or unlock all or some of the product. Anything that is unlocked will be free for users to see and can act as a preview to paid products.
