Members of the IB Exchange can discover products and communities through key word search, filters or browsing. Use the search bar, filters, and tags to narrow your search to find relevant products.
Featured items will always appear above the search bar to give members quick access to the current highlighted products.
Browsing & Filtering Products or Communities
The IB Exchange houses instructional materials, professional learning modules, micro-credentials, and communities. The browsing and filtering options make finding the different product types easier.
Toggle to change the search from products to communities by clicking the toggle icon on the left hand side of the library, above the product cards.

- Search by title or key words in the search bar. The global search bar will populate any products that have a match within the title or description.
- For example, when searching 'teaching,' all products that include the word 'teaching' in the title or description will appear.
- Filter your search for specific product types, tags, and skills using the 'Filter by' option.
- Filtering the search allows users to filter by Product Type, Approaches to Teaching, Learner Profile Skills, and Action/ Engagement. Select as many filters within each category tab that you would like to be applied to the search, select 'Apply' to see the results.
- To remove a filter, click the 'x' in the corner of the filter and see the updated search. All tags are color coordinated to match the filter category type.
- Search by the IB Taxonomy by clicking the programme tiles. Use the programme tags and their conditional filters to narrow the search within the programme.
Users also have the ability to organize their search by using the sort results by option. Reorder the product results by most recent, oldest to newest, or alphabetically by clicking the drop down.
