What is the Content Repo?

The content repo is the entry point for most files into the platform. It's purpose is to organize instructional materials and professional learning materials in a folder based system. Approved users can add the appropriate tags to both files and folders. Anything you place inside a folder will inherit the tags of the parent-folder. This can make the tagging process much more efficient. You can then add additional tags to the individual files if appropriate.

Then in one, centralized location, you'll be able to

  • quickly locate and retrieve content,
  • collaborate with approved users,
  • publish content as a product,
  • and use it to build structured content in the Creator Space (content creators).

With this folder system, you can also save time on publishing products by publishing entire folders to the IB Exchange all at once. This creates a product from each individual file within the folder.
